The Great South Run

This year the Society of St James' drug team is participating in the Great South Run to raise money and awareness of the sports programs we run for our service users and their families. We need your support to assist us in continuing this project for next 12 months. (more)

Fabrizio Beati walks the Way of Saint James for SSJ! (July 2010)

Fabrizio will be walking the Way of Saint James in the north of Spain, an old pilgrimage route that goes from the Pyrenees (Saint Jean Pied de Port, France) to Santiago de Compostela, in Galizia (780km). He is being sponsored to do this, and all money raised will be donated to the Society of St James. (more)

IT AMNESTY AT JAMIE’S COMPUTERS! (May 2010)

Jamie’s Computers is holding an IT Amnesty on Monday 24th May from 10am to 6pm.

In an attempt to increase the number of donations we receive and encourage people to dispose of their IT equipment responsibly, we are inviting you to bring your unwanted IT items to our warehouse where staff will be waiting to assist you FOR FREE. (more)

 

Jamies Computers in the Marlands (March 2010)

From Monday the 15th March Jamies will be selling computers from Southampton's Marlands shopping centre. This will be for a two week trial only so please come down, support us and say hello.

We have some cracking bargains and all of our computers are environmentally friendly and come with a 6month limited warranty. (price list & more)

 

Calendar Competition (March 2010)

This year SSJ is launching a photography competition open to all Hampshire GCSE and A/AS level students. The subject of the competition is HOPE and the 12 photo's with the most votes at the end of the competition will see them made into our annual calendar for 2011. Volunteers start work on communal veggie Garden for Homeless (Feb 2010)

Work has begun on The Growing Project, a local project which aims to work with people who have been homeless and/or live in supported accommodation in order to create a communal vegetable garden. (more)

Avondale Appeal Update (January 2010)

In the summer of 2009 we launched our Avondale appeal. Our target is to raise £130,000, which will allow us to carry out our most ambitious renovations yet, including adding a new extension to the property. (more)
